Sheldon Zablotny had 19 points and was a stalwart on defense as Cathedral Prep routed Shanghai Nanyang Model High School 63-26 in a non-region game in front of 300 fans at the Hammermill Center earlier today.
After Ziliang Liu put up an amazing turnaround 3-pointer from NBA range to start the game, it was all Ramblers (7-2). Prep pulled away in the second quarter by outscoring the Lions (11-10) 20-5 to take a 32-12 halftime lead.
Jiacheng Yang led Nanyang with eight points.
Prep returns to action Monday for a showdown with Strong Vincent at the Hammermill Center for first place in Region 8 at 8:30 p.m.
