
Google has made it possible to easily disable the touchscreen on the Chromebook Pixel if you want to.
The option is currently available through Chrome Flags. Search for ?Touch Events? and disable the option.
Google also has a page dedicated to tips on how to use the touchscreen display on this laptop.
