America.

?June 12 and June 19 first time homebuyer classes:

The Tuesday evening Home Buyer Education classes, offered by GreenPath Debt Solutions and Project Home, allow first time home buyers to learn about homeownership in an environment that encourages questions and protects the potential home buyer from being solicited. They learn about the?pros and cons of home ownership, money management skills, credit issues, how to choose a realtor and lender, down payment assistance programs, shopping for a home?and?obtaining financing?from a variety of industry experts and educators. Classes offered the 2nd?and 3rd?Tuesday evening of every month except Dec.

Home buyers must attend both sessions and a one hour appointment at the GreenPath office at 802 W. Broadway Suite 202, Madison WI to receive their certificate.

June 24 first-time homebuyer class:

This month, we have an additional option for first time home buyers, sponsored by the Home Buyers Round Table of Dane County (www.homebuyersroundtable.org), on Saturday June 23, from 8 am to 4:30 pm. There is no requirement for an appointment at GreenPath and home buyers will receive their completion certificate at the workshop. Breakfast and lunch are provided, again courtesy of the Home Buyers Round Table.

All Classes:

There is no cost for the classes. However, the DownPayment Plus program does allow GreenPath to charge $650 for the education/counseling. Lenders/home buyers, please forward the DPP 6 & 7 forms (Down Payment Plus required forms) to?ebernards@greenpath.com?along with your credit score and we will return them to you when the home buyer has completed his/her program along with an invoice for the services. (Ellen: Will this mean anything to the media, housing writers? Is this going to housing leads, who would know or care about this?)

Flyers for both classes are available upon request or may be attached to this email.
